Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi has maintained that Zambians need a transparent constitution that provides for the linkage of the public office.
Ms. Nawakwi has told QFM news that in as much as the government is doing its best to ensure that the constitution is delivered to the people of Zambia, there is need to ensure that it is a transparent document.
Ms. Nawakwi says Zambians will not accept to continue being uncomfortable with things that have made their lives miserable for many years due to the country’s poor constitution.
The FDD leader explains that parliament and judiciary should be left to work independently without being interfered by the powers that be.
Ms. Nawakwi stresses that there should be no selective application of the law.
