Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) president father Frank Bwalya has appealed to government to take a step further in providing quality education and health care services to the majority Zambians.
Father Bwalya has told Qfm news that the Zambian people need attention especially in rural areas where the majority cannot afford to have a decent meal due to the high cost of living.
Father Bwalya notes that it is sad to see more local government workers go on strike in most parts of the country because of non-payments of their salaries, a move which he describes as unfortunate.
The ABZ leader stresses that the strikes by the government workers also exposes the poor and sick in hospitals to bad situations as they will not have the attention that they deserve.
Father Bwalya has since urged government to smartly handle the challenges being faced by nurses and local government workers.
