The matter in which over 300 suspected Patriotic Front (PF) cadres are facing charges of criminal trespass failed to take place this morning for plea and possible trial.
Forty suspects were supposed to take plea this morning before Magistrate Lameck Ng’andu.
The first group led by Lackson Ngwira failed to take place because one of the suspects who is detained at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe police station in Avondale did not appear before the court.
The other group led by Misheck Fumba was expected to appear before the Magistrate for plea at 12:00hrs this afternoon but did not show up.
Magistrate Ng’andu has since adjourned the matter to Monday 30th September.
Meanwhile security at the court was tight as Police officers in riot gear manned all the two entry points to the Magistrate court complex in readiness for any commotion from cadres.
