intermittent water and power supply.
He immediately summoned Zesco, Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company, the Ministry of Works and the constructors to a meeting on Monday to find a lasting solution to the persistent problem.
Kambwili said during the tour that a high-profile four-nation tournament has been planned for October 15 to symbolise the official opening of the masterpiece
The Zambia soccer team will be playing Brazil in Beijing, China on the date of the intended friendly.
“We are extremely happy with the quality of work done here at this National Heroes Stadium. This is a high quality stadium and very good work done. We are also happy that the stadium will be handed over way
ahead of schedule.
“This is a high class stadium and it works well for infrastructure development. We should now look to the Mongu and Livingstone stadia which are yet to be constructed,” Kambwili said.
Kambwili expressed happiness with the quality of works at the stadium which he said was as good as any other stadium in the world.
