ZRL chief executive officer (CEO) Muyenga Atanga has also urged the squad to work hard and win the remaining games and bring joy to their fans.
ZRL has since increased the players’ salaries and conditions of service.
Atanga who presented the bus to the team in Kabwe advised the team against complacency if they were to win the remaining league games.
“I want to say that we have done our part by purchasing this bus for you and it is up to you now to go out and do your part by ensuring that you beat the best team in the league,” he said.
The ZRL CEO was confident of his players’ capability to win the games and pledged continued support to the team.
And Warriors vice-chairperson, Hyden Dingwall paid tribute to ZRL for considering the welfare of the team and that the purchase of the bus would act as a morale booster to the team.
He further commended the ZRL management for revising the players’ allowances and conditions of service, saying issues of delayed salaries was now a thing of the past.
Dingwall said he was confident that the team would deliver to the expectation of the fans and the company as a whole.
