The public policy expert, Dr Neo Simutanyi in his observation further noted the need to resolve the key constraints hindering the implementation of the decentralization policy in the country.
But Ms. Kabanshi says there is no way there could be haphazardness in a policy that is yet to be fully implemented.
Ms. Kabanshi has disclosed to Qfm in an interview that the revised decentralization policy which was recently launched by President Michael Sata is being printed in before it can be distributed to all government Ministries.
She has also stated that the recently created Districts in the country which are part of the Patriotic Front (PF) government’s developmental programme has only paved the way for the actual implementation of the revised decentralization policy.
Ms. Kabanshi has maintained that the PF government’s intention to implement the revised decentralization policy is meant to ensure that the country%u2019s wealth and development is spread equally across the country.
