The Ghana Football Association has confirmed goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has pulled out of Ghana’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia on Friday because of injury.
The goalkeeper suffered a groin injury while playing for his Norwegian club over the weekend.
He presented himself to the Black Stars medical team on Tuesday morning to be examined and an MRI scan showed that he will not be available for Friday’s game.
“We conducted some tests on Adam’s groin this morning but unfortunately it did not look good. He will not be able to play on Friday,” Dr Baba Adam, the Black Stars medical officer told Ghanafa.org.
