–A senior citizen in Solwezi district in the north-western province has praised President Michael Sata for his leadership style.
Benson Chisulo, 68, said President Sata deserves a pat on the back because of the numerous developmental projects his administration has embarked on especially infrastructure development not only in North-western province but the country as a whole.
Mr. Chisulo told ZANIS in Solwezi today that residents in Solwezi were happy that Zambia is headed for economic boom under President Sata.
He cited the Solwezi Technical College, hospital and other roads that have been worked on under the Patriotic Front government which he said neglected by the previous MMD government.
And Solwezi based Economist Chitundu Samtunda said the link Zambia 8,000 Project will create employment opportunities to the people of North-western and other parts of the country.
Mr. Samutunda is hopeful that President Sata will steer Zambia’s development forward because he is a man of action.
He urged Zambians to rally behind President Sata and the PF government because the people stand to benefit more under the government of the day.
Meanwhile, a Solwezi resident James Kapolyo has advised Solwezi East electorates to vote for PF candidate Peter Illunga in next week’s polls.
Mr. Kapolyo said the people of Solwezi East constituency should not make a mistake of voting for the opposition because it is not capable of developing the area adding that only the PF government can do so.
