Malupenga congratulates parley radio

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Amos Malupenga has said access to information was crucial for the creation of a transparent, accountable and democratic society.

Mr. Malupenga said the free flow and public access to information was vital for the development of any society.

The Permanent Secretary said this in a congratulatory message to Parliament Radio for opening a second studio for radio transmission.

He said the opening of the studio will play a fundamental role in improving access to information.

Mr. Malupenga has since pledged government’s continued support to the radio station in bringing parliament proceedings closer to the people.
