Serenje district PF Chairperson dies
Kabwe, June 13, ZANIS ——–Serenje district Patriotic Front (PF) Chairperson, Boas Kuluwa 59, is dead.
The late Mr Kuluwa who died on Tuesday night at Kabwe General Hospital after an illness, will be put to rest at St. Monica cemetery in Kabwe tomorrow.
Both Central province Minister Philip Kosamu and PF Provincial Chairperson Benson Chali, confirmed the death of Mr Kuluwa to ZANIS today.
Mr Kosamu described the death of Mr Kuluwa as a big loss to the party adding that he will be remembered for his commitment and contributions to the party especially during the run up to the general elections in 2011.
Mr Kosamu also described the late Mr Kuluwa as the only district chairperson who managed to deliver with his team, a constituency to PF 2011 in the rural party of Central province.
And Mr Chali said the death of Mr Kuluwa was a blow as he was a man who knew how to bring people together because of his leadership intelligence.
Mr Chali asked the bereaved family to look to God during this trying period.
Mr Kosamu visited the funeral held at House number 767 in Lukanga Township with party officials that included Mr Chali and Kabwe Central Member of Parliament, James Kapyanga.
Mr Kuluwa has left behind a wife and seven children.
