THE arrival of Romania-based striker, Fwayo Tembo who was scheduled arrive in Ndola last night to join the Zambia soccer team shaping up for this Saturday’s 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho will help ease coach Herve Renard’s frontline worries.
Tembo of Romanian side, Astra Giurgiu is tomorrow expected to join the rest of the team in training at Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
The 24-year-old right winger is among the 25 local and foreign players Renard called to camp for the June 8 and 15 Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Sudan respectively.
He joins fellow strikers Christopher Katongo who plies his tread at Chinese Super League club Henan Construction, Collins Mbesuma of South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and Emmanuel Mayuka of English Premiership side, Southampton, who arrived last week.
The other strikers, James Chamanga of Chinese side, Liaoning Whowin and Jacob Mulenga who plays for FC Utrecht in the Netherlands, are expected to arrive this week to complete th
