Cricket team loses

AN out of sorts Zambia yesterday lost to hosts Uganda at the 2013 International Cricket Council (ICC) Africa under-19 World Cup Qualifier (CWCQ) Divisional tournament by a staggering 141 runs.
On the back of an impressive five-wicket win over Tanzania in the opening game of the tournament, Zambia just failed to get into the gear in this game and a spirited Uganda just blew them away.
But Zambia Cricket Union (ZCU) president Reuben Chama while expressing regret at the loss, remained confident that the charges would recover in the coming games and keep their world cup berth alive.
The game was so bad that after giving away too many runs when they bowled (241for five in 50 overs), Zambia lost wickets cheaply when batting and managed only 99 runs all out in 43 overs to give the East Africans a 141-run victory.
Zambia’s best play in the game was team captain Chetan Reddy who took two of the five wickets at fielding time and was second highest scorer for Zambia when batting with just 15 runs, the top scorer being Gibson Kandela on 24 runs and then Mwila Bwanga on 12 runs.
“Not all hope is lost. We still have room to do better and remember this is a good team. It was just a bad day at the office and I
