PRINCE Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were involved in a “hairy” emergency landing today after their helicopter developed a technical fault.
The Prince and Camilla were just 15 minutes out of central London when their pilot was forced to divert to a nearby aerodrome.
The royal couple were on their way to Hay-on-Wye in Wales to visit the town’s famous literature festival when the drama unfolded.
But minutes after boarding the helicopter, which was carrying seven people, they were forced to land at Denham Aerodrome in Buckinghamshire.
