-The National Paralympic Committee of Zambia (NPCZ) has condemned the recent use of unpalatable language by the opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema on Vice President Guy Scott.

NPCZ Acting president George Gondwe said Zambians should desist from unnecessary politicking because this might destabilize the running of government affairs.

Mr. Gondwe said it was unfair for the opposition political parties to be attacking government unnecessarily when their role is to provide checks and balances.

He has since urged all citizens to respect and support the government of the day if peace is to be upheld in the country.

This is contained in a statement made available to ZANIS in Lusaka today by NPCZ Acting president George Gondwe in Lusaka today.

Meanwhile, Mr. Gondwe has thanked government for continued financial and material support to the committee.

He said the support has translated into an efficient administration and coordination of disability sport programmes in Zambia.
