It’s a PF/MMD race in Kansans ward by-elections
Samfya, March 29, 2013, ZANIS– Only two candidates have successfully filed in their nominations for the Kasansa ward by-elections candidature in Chifunabuli constituency of Samfya District.
ZANIS reports from Samfya District that Former Kasansa ward MMD councilor, Patson Mambwe who now aspires to return the seat on the Patriotic Front ticket successfully filed in his nomination papers yesterday.
Mr. Ber5nard Mwansa also filed in his nomination on MMD ticket. Both candidates expressed optimism of scooping seat.
No other nominations from other political parties were recorded making the election a two-man horse-race.
Acting District Electoral Officer Liftery Ndaba confirmed the development in Samfya.
