Milenge district council has received KR1 million for land development.
Council secretary Caroline Mphande disclosed this to ZANIS in Milenge today.
She said she was grateful to government for the funds of which KR128,500 has been disbursed to the survey department in Mansa for land demarcation.
Ms Mphande said the the survey department will look at 14 commercial plots and 110 residential plots within the business area in accordance with the approved development plan for the district.
And Luapula Province Regional Surveyor Vincent Mubanga confirmed the development.
