Zambezi residents commends government
Zambezi, February 19, ZANIS ——Zambezi residents have applauded government for sending Dentists to Zambezi district hospital after eight years of the hospital operating without dental services.
Zambezi District Medical Officer, Nkomba Chamileke told ZANIS in Zambezi today that the hospital has not been offering dental services following the retirement of a dentist about eight year ago.
Dr Chamileke said the hospital has now received a new dental machine and two dental officers to assist patients with dental problems who have been trekking to Chitokoloki mission hospital about 40 kilometres from Zambezi Township.
He added that the hospital is likely to receive the dental machine component for filling and cleaning teeth any time this year.
Isaac Mung’amba, a dental patient commended government for coming to their aid and appealed for quick release of the remaining dental machine components.
