A 19 – year – old man has died on the spot after failing off a moving Tractor in Mazabuka district.
The passenger Shadrick Chipapuka 19, of Habeenzu village in Chief Naluwama’s area fell off the trailer and was run over by the same tractor which was being driven by Christopher Michelo aged 35 of Lusutu Farms.
This is contained in a press statement made available to ZANIS today by police public relation officer Elizabeth Kanjela.
Meanwhile, the police in Central province have arrested a 14 years old boy for defiling a 5 years old girl contrary to section 138 CAP 87 of the laws of Zambia.
The suspect is believed to have defiled the minor on 8th February, 2013 at Mungule Village.
And in another development, the police in North Western province have arrested Gift Kainda aged 21 of Kandundu Compound in Solwezi for defiling a 14 – year- old girl of Kazomba Compound.
It was reported that between 27th October and 22nd December 2012 the 14 year old girl of Kazomba Compound Solwezi was defiled and impregnated by Gift.
