The driver of Power Tools Bus which was involved in a Road Traffic Accident in Serenje on Friday morning has been charged with 22 counts of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
And twenty two bodies of the deceased in the same accident have so far been identified.
Police Deputy Spokesperson Esther Katongo says the driver of the Power Tools Bus, identified as Baron Chibuye 39, will appear in court soon.
Ms Katongo says the Driver of the Truck Lucky Mulolo aged 36 has been Warned and Cautioned for three counts of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving but has not been charged yet because he is still admitted in Serenje Hospital.
Ms. Katongo says the remaining three bodies are yet to be identified; one male adult, one female adult and a female juvenile toddler aged about two years.
She states that the police service hopes that by the end of the day today, all the remaining bodies will be identified.
