OBSERVERS’ EXIT POLLS FOR ZAMBIA 2016 GENERAL ELECTION

“President Edgar Lungu likely to win by 57%”

President Edgar Lungu has been placed into a runaway lead by many exit polls and early results.

On Thursday 11th August 2016, the country went to elect it’s President, Members of Parliament, Mayors, Council Chairman and councillors.

This exit poll has been conducted by European Observers, using 1000 pollsters, a total of 100 surveyors were placed in each province.

The poll results have been tabulated into percentages.
A sample of 100 was used at all sample polling stations using random sampling method.

Below is a compilation of the exit poll compiled at 20:00hrs today.

Lusaka Province
ECL = 58%
HH = 40%
Others 2%

Copperbelt Province
ECL = 64%
HH = 31%
Others = 5%

Southern Province
ECL = 16%
HH = 80%
Others = 4%

Eastern Province
ECL = 82%
HH = 15%
Others = 3%

Central Province
ECL = 46%
HH = 49%
Others = 5%

Northern Province
ECL = 74%
HH = 25%
Others = 1%

Luapula Province
ECL = 84%
HH = 29%
Others 1%

Western Province
ECL = 33%
HH = 65%
Others 2%

North Western Province
ECL = 28%
HH = 70%
Others = 2%

Muchinga Province
ECL = 87%
HH = 10%
Others = 3%

GRAND TOTAL

ECL = 57.2%
HH = 41.4%
OTHERS = 1. 4%

The percentage error in study is +-3%

  1. Lungu ni U munthu we bantu not someone who grabs land fro poor Zambians just to feed his castles then u expect him to be our president really? Come on this guy is a monster he don’t care about human being all he cares is about his castles, in that case he will never be our Republican president never ever!!!!!!!!!
