The ruling Patriotic Front says there is currently no wind of change in the country to warrant its removal from power.
PF deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says his party has assessed the political mood in the country and has established that there is no wind of change.
Mr. Bwalya says history of Zambian politics that a governing party can only be removed from power when there is a wind of change.
He has told QTV news that as far as ruling PF is concerned the opposition is lying to itself to think it stands a chance of winning the August general election.
Mr Bwalya says the huge numbers of people turning up at PF rallies is clear evidence that the Zambian people have not rejected the ruling party.
