Three University of Zambia staff Unions have given UNZA management and Government up to midnight tonight to pay their members their June salaries failure to which they will go on go slow to.

This was resolved during a joint meeting held on June 30th by the University of Zambia Lecturers and Researchers Union (UNZALARU), the University of Zambia Professional Staff Union (UNZAPROSU) and the University of Zambia and Allied Workers Union (UNAZAAWU).

The three unions have noted with concern and dismay at the failure by UNZA Management and Government to pay salaries for the month of June.

They note that this trend has continued since November 2015.

This according to a statement issued to QFM and signed by UNZALARU General Secretary Jason Mwanza, UNZAPROSU General Secretary Frank Lungu and UNZAAWU General Secretary Willa Mulabika.
