President Edgar Lungu says he has a firm belief that he will rule the country up to 2021.

President Lungu says Zambians are able to judge the PF by what the party has done so far.

The President also says he has been a believer even before he became a politician and that he will continue looking up to God.

The President says God has been gracious to Zambia as can be witnessed from the results following the country’s national prayer and fasting.

The President requested the church to continue praying for politicians in the country.

President Lungu was speaking when he graced 45 years celebratory mass for Saint Kizito Catholic Parish in Lusaka today.

And speaking in during his homily, Saint Kizito Catholic Parish priest, Isaac Chanda called for peace in the country.

Fr. Chanda said Zambians are known to be peace loving hence the need to cherish and maintain peace.

He also challenged Christians in the country to unite and end poverty and the disease burdens instead of always looking up to the government.

Fr. Chanda thanked the head of state for visiting the Church and asked for God’s blessings.

President Lungu is this afternoon expected to hold a rally in Lusaka’s Matero constituency.
