PRESS RELEASE

Tragic loss of five pupils and one teacher of hillcrest national technical school
The Chair of the Hillcrest Zambia Alumni (HZA) Mr. Inambao Lubinda, the Global Executive Committee (GEC) and members of the association are deeply saddened by the loss of five pupils and one teacher of Hillcrest National Technical school in a tragic road traffic accident on Friday 18th June, 2016.

As former pupils of Hillcrest, this loss is unbearable to us as those who lost their lives were part of the ‘cream of the nation.
Our deepest condolences go to the bereaved families, the school administration, the government, the academic fraternity and the nation at large.
In order to lessen the burden on families and to compliment government efforts the alumni is calling upon all former Hillcrest students in the country and diaspora and other well-wishers to contribute towards:
1. Funeral expenses to the bereaved families
2. Medical expenses for the survivors of the accident
