CONTROVERSY has erupted over how stacks of copies of the Gideons International Good News Bible found themselves at a private company in Kabwe as waste material for recycling into toilet paper.
Some sections of the Church, however, say they are devastated that the company is allegedly recycling Bibles into toilet paper.
On Thursday, hundreds of copies of the Bibles were found at the company parked in carton boxes in one of the buildings and those badly damaged dumped outside.
The company’s public relations manager Godwin Muyunda said the company is in possession of the Bibles which it received as waste for recycling.
