Herbalist appeals to President for scientific research assistance on his AIDS formula

Ndola based herbalist, Howard Maila has appealed to President Edgar Lungu to help him carry out a conclusive scientific study on his herb called Mailacin formulation using a larger sample size people have been waiting for.

Mr. Maila who is a teacher at Kabwata Primary School in Ndola rural disclosed to ZANIS in Ndola yesterday that his product which was proved non- toxic in 2005 after undergoing clinical trials in allspices of the National Aids Council and (NAC).\

He said the former Movement for Multi- party Democracy (MMD) government promised to carry out a conclusive study on the product using a larger sample size in the quest to find a cure for AIDS which he further said has not swayed anything since then.

“I am appealing to the listening and action oriented President Edgar Lungu to consider carrying out a conclusive scientific study using a larger sample size the general populace has been waiting for.

“ Government of the Republic of Zambia carried out exploratory and observational clinical trials using Mailacin formulation in the allspices and it was discovered that my product was not and it is not toxic but exerts action on HIV, according to a report given by the late and former Deputy Minister of Health, Honourabale Dr. Patrick Chikusu who was a principle investigator,” Mr. Maila said.

He quantified that the outcome of the scientific study will not will not only put Zambia on the world map, but will also show how committed and dedicated the Head of State is in supporting and uplifting Zambian made products.

The Ndola based scientist reiterated that his remedy can cure different types of diseases given an opportunity to prove himself adding that he has since cured about 40 people who were suffering both cancer and kidney failure.

Mr. Maila who is the founder of the Mailacin Wonders also stated that supporting researches like his could be one of the solutuions to strengthening the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) through the export of finished products such as the mailacin wonders.
