`UPND’ cadres surrender

SOUTHERN Province commissioner of police Godwin Phiri says the three United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres who allegedly attacked Patriotic Front (PF) deputy spokesperson Frank Bwalya at Sky FM in Monze have handed themselves over to the police.
Mr Phiri said in a statement that the suspects yesterday handed themselves to police in Monze around 17:30 hours.

“All the three suspects wanted in connection with the assault of PF deputy spokesperson Frank Bwalya have handed themselves over to police in Monze around 17: 30 hours,” he said.
Police spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda identified the suspects as Kelvin Conhill, Lawrence Mbewe and Ackson Miyoba.
