Soccer analyst, Luke Mbewe says the Zambia Under-23 team has the slimmest of chances to qualify for the 2016 Brazil Olympics.
This he says is going by the junior Chipolopolo’s performance in their first game at the on-going Senegal CAF Under-23 championship, where the top 3 teams will automatically qualify for the Brazil games.
The Zambia Under-23 lost the Group (A) game 2-1 to Tunisia, reducing their chances of qualifying to the next stage of the championship.
Mbewe has explained that the team’s performance is disappointing, adding that the players will now be under pressure to resuscitate their chances of getting beyond the group stage.
Mbewe was speaking on the news and current affairs segment of TV2′s Morning Live programme.
