3 U-23 players missing

Three players are missing from the under-23 national team that yesterday started preparations for this monthend’s Africa Under-23 Championship.

Nkana goalkeeper Charles Mweemba and Zesco United duo of defender Bernard Mapili and midfielder John Ching’andu are not in camp.
Coach Fighton Simukonda said in Lusaka yesterday that the trio received invitation letters late.
The players were expected in camp last evening or today.
