Govt eulogizes Kanganja


Government has described the late former Secretary to the Cabinet Joshua Kanganja as a gallant man who served the public service with a rare spirit of commitment, dedication and handwork.
Speaking during his funeral service held at the Anglican Cathedral in Lusaka today, Justice Minister Ngosa Simbyakula says the death of Dr Kanganja is devastating.
Dr. Simbyakula says Dr. Kanganja will be remembered by many both in government and other organizations for his unique leadership qualities that were evident for all to see in his 40 years of service in the public service.

And Fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda says he is very saddened by the death of Dr. Kanganja as he is one of the people who gave him a warm welcome when he became President.
He says Dr. Kanganja was a wonderful man who he felt comfortable working with during his three years as President.
Among the mourners were first republican president Kenneth Kaunda, opposition leaders, senior government officials and Members of Parliament.
Dr. Kanganja who died on Thursday, 15th October,2015 is survived by nine children and a mother.
