Zambia name squad for Kenya clash

Zambia national football team coach George Landwamina has announced a 23-man squad for the 2017 Africa Cup on Nations against Kenya on Sunday.

The match is scheduled for Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday, September 6 with a scheduled kick-off time of 3pm CAT.

 

Landwamina has listed eight foreign based players, including Collins Mbesuma who returns to the fold for the first time since September 2014.

Others are goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, Aaron Katebe, Stopilla Sunzu, Nathan Sinkala, Rainford Kalaba, Chisamba Lunga, Lubambo Musonda and Kondwani Mtonga.

Leftback Solomon Sakala of Kabwe Warriors has also been listed as cover for Emmanuel Mbola.

The team departs for Nairobi on Friday morning.
