The United Party for National Development in Southern province has urged party members carrying out various activities in the name of party to work within the existing structure
UPND Provincial Party treasurer Vitalis Mooya says the party welcomes all support from members on voter education and sensitization but such activities must be done in conformity with the existing party structure.
He has warned party members in the province against creating a parallel party structure to carry out activities in the name of the party as this will create confusion.
Mr Mooya, who is also Moomba MP, says members who wish to carry out voter sensitization or campaigns must work with the leaders of the party in the province as well as the current MPs.
He told Radio Chikuni News in a telephone interview that even those aspiring for legislative elections must campaign within the structure of the party and follow the laid down rules and procedures for those aspiring to contest parliamentary elections.
