Musonda joins squad

 

Armenia-based midfielder Lubambo Musonda has joined the Chipolopolo squad ahead of this Sunday’s 2017 AFCON Group E qualifier against Kenya.

 

Lubambo was part of the team’s morning training session at Heroes National stadium in Lusaka.

This brings the number of professionals summoned by coach George Lwandamina to eleven, out of the thirteen called up for the must-win encounter.

 

 

But the Israel duo of Emmanuel Mbola and Evans Kangwa was missing from today’s training session captured by ZNBC Sports.

The match will be played on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Nairobi, and two days later the Chipolopolo are set to play a friendly game against Gabon in Lusaka.

 

 

All four teams in Group E have a point apiece after drawing their opening encounters.

Zambia failed to beat Guinea Bissau after a goalless draw at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, while Kenya drew 1-all with Congo Brazzaville.
