A CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION SAYS PRESIDENT LUNGU MUST SHOW ZAMBIANS THAT HE IS FOR AN INCLUSIVE GOVERNMENT BY TAMING HIS SECRETARY GENERAL DAVIS CHAMA.
JCTR Executive Director Fr Leonard Chiti made the remarks in an interview with Mano News.
Fr. Chiti said Chama’s remarks had potential to fuel tribal conflict among Zambians who have lived under the ‘One Zambia one nation motto’ since independence.
He has since called on Mr Chama to retract his perceived demeaning statement he made against the Tonga speaking people of Southern Province.
And Fr. Chiti has further called on the general citizenry to desist from perceiving other tribes as a minority.
He said it is unfortunate that some sections of society think that other tribes cannot lead the nation.
