There is too much bitterness among politicians-Lungu

President Edgar Lungu says there is too much bitterness among politicians.

 

The President says some of his critics are so bitter that they only see negative things about his leadership.

President Lungu says the forth coming by-elections in Bangweulu and Solwezi West will shame his opponents.

President Lungu was speaking on Tuesday at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, before leaving for Livingstone to meet traditional leaders in the area.

 

 

And President Lungu says chiefs should be left out of politics.

He says he has gone to Southern Province to preach the One Zambia One Nation motto.

Mr. Lungu says it is through efforts like his visit to the South that will make some people understand that he means well.

Meanwhile, President Lungu has arrived in Livingstone.

 

The President arrived at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Airport at 10.50 hours and was welcomed by Southern Province Minister, Nathaniel Mubukwanu, Transport Deputy Minister, Richwell Siamunene and other government officials.

And upon arrival, The President said people should not be deceived that Zambia is for a few individuals, but for everyone regardless of their political affiliation.

Mr Lungu has explained that his job is to unite the country.

 

He has explained that it is unfortunate that some people are habouring bitterness at the expense of national development.

The President has reiterated that people are looking for development, which government is delivering.

The head of state has since proceeded to Chrismar Hotel, where he is scheduled to meet the Chiefs from Southern province.

  1. Because they feel you came from now where and later won the elections. It’s a copper bullet they have to swallow.
