” Indeed he was a “Plan B” to many people. It’s a bitter pill to swallow,” said Collen Kalobo, a sister to the late Youngson Kalobo popularly known as Jerabos.

This is despite many people describing him as ruthless.

Youngson died on Wednesday morning at Progress Hospital after a short illness.

Collen Kalobo said burial for the late will take place on Saturday at Nkana Cemetery.

“Burial for our beloved but deceased brother Youngson Kalobo to take place on Sartuday at Nkana East cemetery,”.

Youngson led a powerful gang of black market copper traders infamously known as Jerabos. They are feared and hugely respected on the Copperbelt.

He shot to prominence in Kitwe for his notorious activities in the trading of copper on the Copperbelt.

The deceased, fought to claim ownership of the Copper dumpsite popularly known as the Black mountain.
