Siliya will work in harmony with President EDGAR Lungu – Kawandami

Chifubu Member of Parliament Susane Kawandami has urged the people of Petauke Central to vote for Dora Siliya in the June 30th Parliamentary by-election to enable her finish the projects which she started.

Ms Kawandami who is also deputy minister lands, environment and Natural Resources says Ms Siliya will also work in harmony with President EDGAR Lungu because she is coming from the ruling party.

She says the People of Petauke have had no representative in Parliament for a long time and that now is the right time for them to exercise their right and vote for a representative from the ruling party.

Ms Kawandami was speaking at Chisonso basic school in Petauke during a campaign rally held to drum up support for Ms Siliya.

And PF Member Father Frank Bwalya says there is need for Ms Siliya to be given a mandate on June 30th because she has demonstrated that she is a hard worker.

He says President Lungu needs a PF MP in Petauke for effective monitoring of development projects that he has embarked on.

Meanwhile Allan Zulu of the UPND has told Petauke residents that he is the right person for the job.

He says he will engage various stakeholders to invest in Petauke.

Mr. Zulu has told traders at Petauke market during his ongoing campaign meetings that this is the right time for Petauke residents to usher in a new member of Parliament.

And UNIP Candidate Ignasio Phiri told ZNBC on Thursday that once elected, he will focus on agriculture as it has the potential to provide income and food for the people in the constituency.
