Sinkala to miss Cosafa plate final, as he attends his traditional marriage ceremony

1

Chipolopolo Vice Captain Nathan Sinkala has been excused from national duty to allow him to attend to family matters and will miss tomorrow’s COSAFA plate final against Malawi.
Team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi has told @fazfootball.com in South Africa that Sinkala will this weekend have a traditional marriage blessing ceremony and as such “has been excused from camp”.

The 2012 Africa cup winning midfielder yesterday led a resurgent Zambia that beat Ghana 3-0 in the COSAFA plate semifinal at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace. Sinkala’s volley outside the box was Zambia’s third goal that silenced Ghana.

And coach Honour Janza has thanked Sinkala for his commitment to the team.

Sinkala has since left Sun City in South Africa for Lusaka.
