Two children die in house inferno

TWO CHILDREN OF THE SAME FAMILY HAVE DIED IN AN INFERNAL AFTER A GRASS THATCHED HOUSE THEY WERE SLEEPING IN CAUGHT FIRE.
Northern Province Deputy Police Commissioner Alfred Nawa disclosed the development to Mano News today.
Commissioner Nawa revealed that the incident occurred on 4th May, 2015 around 02:00 Hours in Munzuwa village in Chief Tafuna’s area in Mpulungu District.
Mr. Nawa named the deceased as Gershom Chipeta aged Three and Selina Chipeta aged One year.
Deputy Police Commissioner further said the mother to the deceased Evelyn Nambao 27 and her son Gerald Chipeta aged four were rescued but have suffered severe burns and property valued at Seven Hundred and Fifty Kwacha were gutted.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
