TWO Standard Chartered Bank Choma branch employees have pleaded not guilty to stealing over K65, 000 from the bank.
In this case, Nero Hamusuku, 45, of 1471 Showgrounds and Kenneth Mwangala, 52, of New Kalundu, both bankers of Choma, are jointly charged with the offense of theft by servant.
Particulars are that on dates unknown but between December 31, 2014 and January 6, this year in Choma, the duo, being servants to Standard Chartered Bank Choma branch as bankers, jointly and while acting together, allegedly stole K65, 750 cash, the property of their employer.
When the matter came up on Thursday before Chief resident magistrate Willie Sinyangwe, the two, who are on police bond, denied the charge.
The court set a later date for commencement of trial.
