After losing to Floyd Mayweather in a unanimous decision, Manny Pacquiao said he disagreed with the result.
“I thought I won the fight,” he said during his post-fight interview. “He didn’t do nothing.”
Mayweather, who entered the fight as the favorite, improved to 48-0 in his career as Pacquiao fell to 57-6.
Afterward, Pacquiao repeated several times that he thought he won the fight. He acknowledged that he might not have picked up the pace in the final rounds because he thought he was leading the fight.
Pacquiao resisted complimenting Mayweather, suggesting his opponent had the edge in neither size nor power.
When asked what was next in his career, Pacquiao said he would take a vacation, then promoter Bob Arum would “take care of the rest.”
