President Lungu back from Namibia

President Edgar Lungu has arrived in the Country from Namibia, where he had gone to attend the inauguration ceremony of new Namibian President Hage Geingob.

The Presidential Challenger plane carrying the President touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 11: 20 Hours on Sundaymorning.

Speaking to Journalists on arrival at the international Airport, President Lungu says Zambia’s relationship with Namibia shall continue to remain strong.

President Lungu says Namibia is equally promoting the spirit of togetherness just like Zambia has embraced the One Zambia One Nation motto.

He also says he is happy with the smooth transition in the neighbouring Country.

President Lungu was received by Vice President Inonge Wina, Youth and Sports Minister Vincent Mwale, State House Deputy Minister Mulenga Sata, Secretary to the Cabinet Rowland Msiska, Service Chiefs, Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary Stardy Mwale and PF officials.

The President was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba, Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs Kaizer Zulu, among others.
