The Post castigated for unprofessional reporting over Edgar Lungu’s health

Government has castigated the Post Newspaper for what it terms as unprofessional reporting over the health of President Edgar Lungu.

Chief government spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili has also castigated Non Governmental Organisation Coordinating Council Board Chairperson, Sarah Longwe for trivializing President Lungu’s illness in the Post Newspaper.

Mr. Kambwili has told the media in Lusaka that the remarks attributed to Ms. Longwe are in bad taste especially from a leader who is supposed to be a caregiver.

He says he will direct all government institutions to stop buying and advertising in the Post Newspaper.

Ms. Longwe was quoted in Today’s edition of the Post Newspaper that the government should not lie to the people of Zambia on the illness and current health status of President Lungu.
