A TWENTY-FIVE YEAR OLD MOTHER OF MPULUNGU’S SIMUMBELE VILLAGE HAS DIPPED HER NINE-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER’S HANDS IN BOILING WATER OVER A PIECE OF FISH SHE EAT WITHOUT PERMISSION.

Simumbele village headman, Luckson Mpepo confirmed this, saying the incident happened yesterday and named the victim as Chibwe Nanyangwe.

Mr. Mpepo stated primary investigations revelled that the victim opened the lid of the cooking pot to merely taste whether there was enough salt in the fish or not.

The traditional leader has since described the situation as unfortunate.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother only identified as Bana-junior-Nachilima was by press time said to have left for a church gathering leaving the young girl in a desperate situation.
