Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila has commended the Zambia Police for arresting expelled MMD National Secretary Muhabi Lungu for conduct likely to cause breach of peace.

Mr.Mwila has told Qfm news in an interview that there is no one above the law and any such person pretending to be above the law will face the wrath of the law.

He says Mr. Lungu and his team should have respected the orders from the Police who denied them a permit to go ahead and hold any meetings.

Mr Mwila points out that Mr. Lungu should also be mindful of the fact that the court ruling declaring Dr Nevers Mumba as MMD President is final hence his faction has no right to begin holding parallel meetings as they are disrespecting the law.

Mr. Mwila has since warned Mr. Lungu to be a law abiding citizen or the Police will not hesitate but take action against him.
