Rehab works on Lukupa School of Midwifery progressing well

 

Kasama , February 12, 2015, ZANIS —-  Rehabilitation works at Lukupa School of Midwifery has reached an advanced stage.

 

 

Kasama District Commissioner Kalanga Bwalya who confirmed the development when he toured the site expressed happiness on the progress made.

 

 

He assured that government was committed to providing health infrastructures in all parts of the country.

 

 

Mr. Bwalya has since appealed to the contractor to stick to their deadline, adding that the 20 dormitories which are being rehabilitated are important for the midwifery trainees.

 

 

And site foreman Steven Silupya assured government that the project will be completed by the end of March 2015.

 

 

Mr. Silupya noted that the delay in completion has been caused by heavy rains experienced in the past weeks.

 

 

Meanwhile works on the K2.2Million modern police clinic in Kasama is progressing well.

The project has been constructed by GEOTECH Limited.

 

 

Kasama DC Kalanga Bwalya who also inspected the works at the clinic said he was confident that the works will be completed in time.

 

 

He commended the local contractor for the good works.
