PF condemns locking of Office in Luapula

 


Mansa/February 12, 2015,  ZANIS —–   Luapula Province Patriotic Front Chairperson Nixon Chilangwa has condemned the locking of some Offices at Provincial Administration in Luapula Province by people purported to be Patriotic Front members.

 


Mr. Chilangwa says he strongly condemns the incident that happened on Tuesday morning where offices of the Deputy Permanent Secretary, the Assistant Secretary and Administrative Officer were found locked by unknown people.

 


ZANIS reports that Mr Chilangwa who said this in a telephone interview  today says Police should do thorough investigations and bring to book whoever is involved in the matter.

 


He said Police continue investigating in the matter as there it could have been anybody pretending to be the suspect.

 

 

He said police should do their investigations those who locked the offices could people who are not even Patriotic Front cadres but people who want to tarnish the name of the party in the Province.

 


And Patriotic Front Provincial Secretary Francis Musunga says the PF in the province will not condone unruly behaviour.

 

 


Mr. Musunga advised people including those in PF not to take the law in their hands but to follow the right channel of communication whenever they are aggrieved.

 


He wandered how one could behave in such a manner when the relationship between the Provincial Administration and the Patriotic Front is cordial.

 


On Tuesday morning, offices of the Deputy Permanent Secretary, the Assistant Secretary and Administrative Officer were found locked by unknown people and police are investigating the matter.
