Katontoka happy with civil servants conduct during the January 20th, Presidential by-elections


Luwingu,February 11TH , 2015 –ZANIS — Government  has commended civil servants fort being  nonpartisan  during the recently held  20th January presidential by- elections.


Luwingu district commissioner Mambwe Katontoka  says  she was grateful that  civil servants in  her  district  especially behaved professionally during the 20th January 2015 presidential by- elections adding that none of them misconducted themselves.

“I am impressed with your conduct ladies and gentlemen during the just ended presidential elections, this is good because it demonstrates maturity and professionalism,” she added.

She was speaking during stake holders meeting held in her office yesterday, where she said that civil servants should support the government of the day in order to foster national development.

Mrs. Katontoka also thanked the people of Zambia for having elected president Edger Lungu on PF ticket saying the developmental projects embarked on by the late President Michael Chilufya Sata will not suffer setbacks because the legacy by the late president will continue in the interest of Zambian people.

 She observed that the results of the polls elated the community and they have commended the president for appointing Ms Inonge Wina as vice president.

Mrs. Katontoka said that the 2016 presidential election will be a walk over because president Lungu has not forsaken the vision of the late President Mr. Sata.
