– Kasama Rotary Club president Pattison Chansa says his organization is determined to improve the welfare of patients.

He said the rotary club will endeavor to make the world a better place to live by making contributions towards the welfare of the needy.

He said this at Kasama general hospital when the club donated  33 air cooling fans worth K20, 000 to improve ventilation for patients.

Mr. Chansa said the club aspires to serve in ways that will make a lasting difference and impact.

Mr. Chansa further appealed to the hospital administration to take good care of the fans through servicing and good maintenance.

And Hospital Superintendent Elijah Mutoloki thanked the Rotary club for the good gesture which he said will improve ventilation in the wards.

He said the Rotary Club of Kasama has helped the general hospital to have a face lift as it has adopted a ward.

Dr Mutoloki said such partnerships were important as they assist and support the hospital.
