Scott, Lungu reconcile

–Acting President, Guy Scott, and Patriotic Front (PF) party president, Edgar Lungu, have reconciled.

 

This was during the reconciliatory meeting held at Government House in Lusaka this morning.

 

And speaking during the meeting, Dr Scott said it was high time the differences that have characterised the PF since the death of President Michael Sata were buried.

 

And Dr Scott has expressed confident that the PF will emerge victorious in the January 20, 2015 presidential by- elections.

 

Dr Scott has since assured the nation that next year’s presidential by-elections will be free and fair without corruption and any form of violence.

 

Meanwhile, PF president, Edgar Lungu, assured Dr Scott that all is well and the party will now move forward to ensure it wins next year’s presidential by-elections.

 

At the same meeting, St Ignatius catholic Priest, Fr Charles Chilinda, said the healing that has taken place in the PF is the action of God.

 

The meeting was attended by several cabinet and deputy ministers, members of parliament and senior party officials.

 

And the PF will tomorrow launch the campaign rally for Central Province where Acting President Dr Scott is expected to be the main guest speaker.
